I AM THE SUN is crafted to highlight the vibrant and unique flavour of the Sea Buckthorn Berry. Our Sea Buckthorn (known as one of the most nutritionally packed berries available in the world) are grown right here in Saskatchewan by the fine folks at the Boychuck family farm. Opposites attract in this sauce as the bright acidity of the berry is sweetened with an undertone of locally produced honey, and orange juice. Habanero peppers provide a delayed but pleasantly lingering medium heat.  A hint of mustard rounds out the flavour and texture for a full bodied sauce. We guarantee you’ve never tasted anything like it! 

This brew pairs well with a lot of the usual suspects: (Pizza, hotdogs, etc), and at Canto HQ it has proven to be an ideal alternative to mustard to add a level-up to any sandwich. It also adds a stellar kick to balsamic salads as well!

Canto XXVI was founded in 2019 by artist and pepper enthusiast Cate Francis in a humble effort to supply her inner circle with fresh, flavorful sauces that she had yet to see on store shelves. But in short order rumors of her sauce sorcery escaped the laboratory resulting in a sudden and ever growing demand. Thus CANTO hot sauce was born.
