Each candle in the collection is inspired by an iconic Black woman. We hope that by attaching names to our candles, we inspire you to learn more about these amazing women, share their stories or be reminded of the influence they have had on our world.

About Blk Rose Candle:

Created in 2021, almost by accident, BLK ROSE was born when co-founder, Kejina, wanted to find a Black-woman owned candle brand that aligned with her values.

A play on our last name Rose, BLK ROSE is about more than candles. Our vision is for BLK ROSE is to be a place where you can not only find beautiful, well-made candles, but also be inspired to discover the richness and histories of those people and voices who aren’t always widely celebrated.

Our candles are made in small batches in our studio located in Edmonton, Alberta. Each BLK ROSE candle has been carefully crafted to be a thought provoking and inspiring scent for your space.
